Discover Harmony Within
Qigong (气功) is an ancient healing art and a foundational component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), developed to cultivate and harmonize the body’s vital energy—Qi. It combines gentle, intentional movement, conscious breathing, and focused awareness to support physical vitality, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
In TCM, body, heart, and mind are inseparable. A disturbance in one area often affects the others. For example, unresolved emotional pain may lead to tightness in the chest and dis-ease in the heart area. Prolonged anxiety can weaken the digestive system and lead to fatigue.
Qigong addresses these imbalances by moving Qi with intention, releasing stagnation, and restoring harmony across the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions.
That’s why, in TCM, Qigong is considered a powerful method of self-healing—awakening the body’s innate ability to restore balance from within. It is both structured and intuitive, working in alignment with the body’s natural design to support healing, vitality, and a deep sense of inner harmony.
Because healing energy is, at its core, loving energy, this practice cultivates a loving connection with yourself and others—softening your body, heart, and spirit from the inside out.

Meditation in Motion
Qigong is often described as “meditation in motion”—a form of active meditation. Unlike passive practices where the mind is set aside, Qigong invites your consciousness to take an active role in healing. Through the coordination of breath, movement, and intention, we learn to guide Qi with awareness—cultivating presence, clarity, and a deepened connection between body and mind.

Move with Effortless Effort
Movement of the Heart Qigong is rooted in Taoist philosophy, a tradition that offers not only tools for cultivating vitality, but also a profound way of living in harmony with the nature within and around us.At the heart of Qigong—or Taoist Yoga—is the principle of Wu Wei: effortless effort. Instead of striving or pushing, we learn to align our actions with our current energetic state. By understanding the dynamic balance of Yin and Yang—when to act, and when to rest—you’ll discover how to conserve energy, reduce inner resistance, and experience the ease of doing less while accomplishing more.

About Ariel Mayrose and Movement of the Heart Qigong
I first encountered Qigong in 2005, and since then it has become an inseparable part of my life and my path of personal and spiritual development. Over the years, I have studied and explored various Qigong traditions—both classical and contemporary—and integrated them into a living, evolving personal practice.
For me, Qigong is much more than a physical or energetic practice—it is a living philosophy. It teaches me to conserve energy, soften internal and external conflicts, and act from a place of calm clarity. Embracing Taoism and the Taoist yoga of Qigong, I have come to experience true strength—not through effort, but through alignment with my unique flow of life.
More than anything, Qigong has become a daily physical, energetic, and spiritual prayer—a way of connecting deeply to the nature within and around me, experiencing moments of profound stillness and clarity that words cannot truly express.
While I deeply honor the ancient traditions, which often emphasize precise and structured practice, my approach highlights inner exploration and the wisdom of the body. I believe that every person holds the key to their own healing. Thus, Qigong—literally meaning "energy cultivation"—is not a rigid form, but a living guide: an invitation to develop sensitivity to the flow of life energy as it manifests uniquely in each individual’s body.
Movement of the Heart Qigong is a practice of self-healing—empowering your intuition and inner healing abilities by aligning with your own authentic movement of the heart.

Movement of the Heart Qigong is for anyone seeking a deep connection to themselves—physically, emotionally, and energetically.
