I’m delighted you’ve shown interest in my holistic approach to therapy and the experiences I offer. The main focus of my work is on softening ourselves, cultivating gentleness, and tuning in to the loving energy of the Heart. 

I integrate the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic aspects of who we are into a comprehensive system of healing. By blending together contemporary methodologies of mindfulness and emotional therapy with the ancient Chinese healing wisdom of the Tao, I guide people toward living a healthy and fulfilling life, filled with joy, love and abundance.

I understand how overwhelming life’s challenges can feel—physical constraints, emotional pain, or mental struggles often intertwined, making it difficult to experience true joy and fulfillment. Having gone through profound suffering myself, I know there is a way out.

My Journey

The most transformative change in my life came during a major crisis. At the age of 45, I was at the peak of my career as a filmmaker and a lecturer. I had just finished creating "King Shimon", an award-winning documentary, and was involved in multiple new projects simultaneously.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, my wife left the house.

It happened after two months of a rolling, destructive confrontation that scorched every good part of our relationship. Looking back, I realize how a burst of creativity inflated my sense of self-confidence, blinding me to the needs of those around me. It was a devastating wake-up call.

All at once, I understood that I could not allow this to happen again. Having gone through a divorce thirteen years earlier—one eerily similar to this crisis—I realized I needed to break free from this karmic cycle and use the conflict as an opportunity for deep inner exploration and a transformation in my behavior.

During those difficult hours, I stumbled upon a YouTube lecture by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, the founder of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). From the very first moments, I was captivated by the simplicity and power of his method. I had found an answer.

Through intensive study of NVC and a reevaluation of my thoughts, judgments, and beliefs, I transitioned from using judgmental and destructive behaviors to adopting a new compassionate language. This shift allowed for peace, hope, and the rebuilding of trust in our marriage and family life.

My wife and I went through a difficult and grueling process, filled with many moments of crisis. Anger, sadness, optimism, joy, and anxiety shifted rapidly—an emotional rollercoaster. Yet, these intense emotions helped me uncover my deepest needs for harmony, peace, and connection. Supported by couples therapy and individual counseling, I gradually learned to express my feelings, understand my needs, and truly listen to others.

The Art of Slowing Down

Since my early twenties, I’ve been drawn to mindfulness practices for inspiration, connection, and relaxation. During my trip to China, I was captivated by the gentle, dance-like movements of Qigong, as performed by people in the parks early in the morning. In 2005, I created a television workout program called "Tai Chi Today." Since then, I’ve incorporated a few Qigong movements into my daily warm-up routine.

However, it wasn’t until I delved deeper into the practice of Compassionate Communication (NVC)—listening to my body, connecting to my deepest feelings and needs, and softening my being—that I truly grasped the essence of Qigong.

As my journey evolved, I began connecting daily to the healing energy of the heart through Qigong, Compassionate Communication (NVC), and other emotional therapies like Focusing and Somatic Experiencing. These practices became a gateway for cultivating self-love, softening my inner being, and releasing the layers of physical and emotional tension that had been suppressed for so long.

 

Compassionate Communication, much like Qigong, transcends surface techniques. At its core, it is a practice of aligning with our inner self—tuning into our feelings and cultivating compassion, starting with ourselves. When we embody love and empathy, communication flows naturally from the heart, radiating with clarity and authenticity. Combined with Qigong and Taoism, which emphasize softening the body to allow loving energy to flow, it creates a profound space for transformation, enabling true healing and guiding us toward deeper alignment with our inner truth.

Through Qigong, I learned to move Qi consciously, cultivate inner peace, rejuvenate my body, and align with the natural rhythms of life. What began as a simple exploration soon became a daily prayer of connection to the nature within myself and to the nature of the universe. This practice deepened my understanding of spiritual enlightenment, allowing me to experience moments of profound stillness and clarity that words cannot truly express.

Living a Life of Abundance

"True abundance is the ability to fulfill yourself with minimal effort."

Taoism and NVC taught me to listen deeply to my gut-feelings and intuition, and act from a place of authenticity, free from obligation or societal expectations. Unlike the Western approach, which idealizes hard work and constant progress, I embraced the Taoist principle of Wu Wei—the path of effortless effort. By understanding the synergy of Yin and Yang—knowing when to move forward and when to pause—I learned to conserve my energy and act only when the time is right, allowing life to unfold naturally.

By choosing to engage only in what I truly want to do in each moment, I aligned my actions with my energy, enabling me to achieve more with ease while experiencing greater joy and relaxation.

I found myself increasingly drawn to forests and rivers, practicing Qigong and immersing myself in nature. I sought to slow down and step away from the fast-paced way of living. It wasn’t always easy—years of conditioning brought up physical and emotional pain as I tried to break free. Through emotional embodiment practices, I learned to pause, meditate, and connect with the tension in my body. By embracing this pain with presence rather than neglecting it, I absorbed and transformed it, freeing myself from the Western mindset of constant striving.

My experiences have shown me that even the most challenging crises can be overcome with the right tools. This understanding filled me with optimism, inspiring me to shift my professional path and dedicate my life to guiding others toward mindful, fulfilling, and harmonious living. I embraced a new direction in my career, guided by the call of my heart.

It brings me immense satisfaction to share this Way with others—helping all of us reconnect with our inner wisdom, fulfill our desires, and embrace a life of effortless effort.

Living A Life of Effortless Effort

Now in my fifties, I feel healthier and more vibrant than ever. In private online sessions, I support individuals and couples to achieve physical freedom, emotional balance, self-fulfillment, and harmonious relationships. Through workshops, courses, and retreats, I teach the Taoist way of “effortless-effort,” alongside Qigong and Nonviolent Communication. Together, we open hearts, heal wounds, and create lives filled with love and connection.

By choosing to act only out of love in each moment, I’ve discovered a life filled with joy, love, and abundance. I also came to understand that to act out of love, I must first immerse myself in that energy. This realization inspired me to surround myself with people who share similar values and create a supportive environment where we can manifest our aspirations together. Collaboration is at the heart of my work, and I am grateful to join forces with other healers, artists, and visionaries to cultivate a new consciousness for humanity.

In addition to my therapeutic work, I channel my creative energy into music, playing percussion with various ensembles, dj's and in ecstatic dance events. In my workshops, such as The Energy of Drumming, I combine the rhythm of the heart with Taoist wisdom and Qigong movements into vibrant drumming circles. 

Through my inner journey, I understood that I seek to live in an environment that resonates with my being. This realization led me to leave my homeland, Israel, and open a new chapter of wandering. I am drawn to peaceful places, close to nature, where I can cultivate inner quiet, live in harmony and alignment with my truth, and simply be who I am.
